At the roundtable discussion organized by the Hungarian Atlantic Council, we had the honor of welcoming Hajnalka Vincze as the guest of honor. She is an independent foreign and defense policy researcher and an expert on transatlantic and European affairs at the Foreign Policy Research Institute in Philadelphia.
Other participants in the discussion included György Csóti, President of the Hungarian Atlantic Council; Ambassador Dr. István Gyarmati, Secretary General of the Council; and volunteers of the Hungarian Atlantic Council. The event centered around the paradigm shifts of the Trump administration, particularly in the context of the Russia–Ukraine conflict and changes in transatlantic relations.
The trio of experts provided an in-depth analysis of the current state and prospects of the Euro-Atlantic region in light of the U.S. presidential election results. They also offered insights into key political appointments and the questions surrounding them, highlighting their potential impact on the institutional framework of the United States.
Hajnalka Vincze’s on-the-ground experiences and observations further enriched the high-level discussion.
