Revolutionary Technologies in the Czech Republic – Focus on Cybersecurity

The Czech Republic’s security environment has undergone significant changes in recent years and has become increasingly unpredictable due to the interaction of numerous security challenges, influencing factors, and long-standing trends. For Prague, the primary challenge in recent years has been to ensure economic and social development. While the likelihood of a direct military attack has been considered minimal, the importance of non-military threats has grown—such as the risk of disruptions to strategic supply chains, the negative aspects of international migration, increasing global inequalities, and the rising number of economic and financial crimes. Although security threats are primarily linked to states, the risks posed by non-state actors—often of an asymmetric nature—are also on the rise.
